Carnival Breeze Cruise Ship Review and Video Tour

Some of the featured movies were Planet Earth, Ice Age, Happy Feet, Sponge Bob’s Wild Ride. Other dining options included the lido deck buffet which didn’t offer a ton of variety and was hit or miss during dinner time. We got a tour of the entire spa facility on the very first day and you can check out our video of the spa here. If you just want to relax on your cruise and get pampered a little, there is no better place than Cloud 9 Spa. Services offered include facial treatments, massages, body therapy, acupuncture, medi-spa treatments, teeth whitening (Go Smile), salon services. The staff at the spa was very friendly and not pushy at all.

Other parts of the cruise liner coddle tweens and teens with Wii video games, dance floors, and more. There are also “DiveIn Movies at the Seaside Theater” outdoors with free popcorn and blankets. Fun lovers of all ages will appreciate the 214-foot long Twister waterslide, not to mention PowerDrencher dump bucket, 3 pools, and 7 hot tubs. At SportsSquare, the ship has the 230foot SkyCourse ropes course, where guests can choose between beginner and intermediate courses above the top deck. Carnival Breeze® is the ultimate family cruise ship, since it’s packed with pools and play areas for kids. No worries – we’ve got plenty of spaces for grown-ups to unwind as well.

Most Frequently Searched Cruise Lines

We know — sitting at home, it’s hard to imagine that, but trust us — it’s really, really nice to have a place to unwind from the day’s excitement. Escape to a world designed, from the ground up, for relaxation. Cloud 9 Spa staff are masters (or, maybe more like artists) trained in the craft of simply helping you chill. Massages, facials, body wraps, thermal suites and more — plus, on certain ships, the amazing Thalassotherapy Pool — these are the tools of the trade. Carnival Breeze vs Carnival Dream

Carnival pulled out all the stops with this water park. You can’t miss the two waterslides that help make up one of the largest water parks at sea. The Twister is a 312-foot-long water slide and the DrainPipe goes even faster and then dumps you into a large basin.

Keep the fun going once the sun's done for the day by dancing in your seat at Playlist Productions™... Or if you prefer to do your dancing on a dance floor, check out Liquid Nightclub™. Speaking of liquid, Alchemy Bar® serves up cocktail concoctions made with ingredients a little less ordinary and flavors a lot more interesting.

Cabins and Suites

Carnival Breeze has all the bells and whistles of a Carnival “Fun Ship” with several bars, lounges and restaurants. Built in 2012, you can also enjoy the SkyCourse, an exciting ropes course, and the Punchliner Comedy Club presented by George Lopez on the Carnival Breeze. As you are transported into a make believe world on screen, don’t be surprised if you start to move. Kids and adults love WaterWorks, the onboard water park with two waterslides and dozens of other ways to get wet.

As you might have guessed, Carnival Breeze is not for those seeking serenity at sea. Prepare to stand in line at popular eateries, such as the Guy Fieri barbecue and burger joints. You'll hear babies crying, groups calling to each other and the late-night stumble of an overimbiber trying to find his stateroom. This ship's passenger list is as diverse as the United States (90 percent of cruisers are from North America), but you probably won't rub shoulders with the country club set.

You would have a much better bet choosing a resort with a huge pool complex. That being said, a quick dip in the pool can be nice on a hot day. If you want to spend all day in a pool, a cruise might not be the right choice.

Deluxe Ocean View

Our counselors, each with education or childcare experience, are there to make sure everyone in these small groups has an amazing time. On Carnival Breeze, Deluxe Ocean View staterooms are a great choice for families who want to let the sun shine in as they sail. With more space for stretching out indoors, plus a large balcony for kicking back outdoors, try an Ocean Suite to experience private, luxurious relaxation. Ocean Suites also include VIP check-in, walk-in closet and bathroom with whirlpool tub. Each of Carnival's ships offers a unique layout with features and activities catered to all.

On the Breeze it’s located on deck 5 midship in the middle of Ocean Plaza, and at the Taste Bar you can taste sample dishes from the steakhouse which are absolutely delicious. The main pool is in the central part of the pool deck right below the huge 270-square-foot LED flat screen that plays nightly movies. This part of the ship is nice and open with two Tiki huts on either side of the pool that offer shade while soaking your feet in the water. The open concept translates to the loungers that surround the pool as well and fan out to offer great seats for watching the LED screen while eating popcorn.

These typically cost about $100 - $350 per person per day. Imagine the fun that’s waiting for you on a Carnival Cruise. Take a look at this photo gallery to help you envision your perfect vacation. (Promenade Deck 5) "Guy’s Pig & Anchor Barbeque Smokehouse" is a complimentary, open-air complimentary restaurant located on the Lanai Promenade. The Smokehouse is designed by Guy Fieri (Food Network). Signature menu items are named Mac Daddy Mac'n Cheese, Old Skool Potato Salad, Scratch-Made Slaw, Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey, Molasses Baked Beans with Bacon and Burnt Ends.

In fact, service is one of the ship's strongest points. It's also the first ship to offer Playlist Productions, high-tech production shows only 30 minutes long that combine captivating live performances with LED staging and special effects. Every cruise traveler should be able to find the type of food they are craving when sailing on the Carnival Breeze. Send friends and family a quick email from our Internet café and don’t forget to include a picture. Gangwaze is your one-stop destination for shore tours, pre-cruise hotels, transfers, vacation insurance & more.

The Carnival Breeze Cloud 9 Spa is a whopping 22,770 square feet and spans two decks forward. From end to end, the Carnival Breeze length equals 1004 feet (307 meters). Compare that to the average ship length of all 26 active vessels in Carnival’s fleet, measuring 982 feet (300 meters). The arcade was surprisingly big aboard the Breeze and was a typical place for kids and teens to hang out, but I made sure I got at least one air hockey game in.

Select ships have side-by-side racing slides, which make serious competition seriously fun. Wear your speed suit for Speedway Splash, which features hundreds of feet of racing action, plus special lighting effects you'll experience on the road to victory. DrainPipe ends with one major swirl of a finish, while PowerDrencher takes soaking seriously — imagine the biggest bucket of water you've ever seen, raining down on you from above.

Next was the 13-night Transatlantic crossing (Nov 6 – Nov 21) to Miami, where the ship was home-ported for year-round, alternating 6- and 8-night Caribbean cruises from Miami FL. Follows the complete list of Carnival Breeze lounges, clubs and other entertainment venues for kids, teens, and adults. CCL Breeze ship also has 368 connecting ("Family" cabins), 79 "Cloud 9 Spa", 35 wheelchair-accessible, and "Cove Balcony" cabins (located on Deck 2/by the lifeboats). The largest are the Grand Suites (345 ft2 / 32 m2 plus 85 ft2 / 8 m2 terrace) with max occupancy 4 passengers. Those who do need a break from the crowds can find it on the lesser-populated Lanai Deck or in some secluded front-of-ship deck space. Then again, why sign up for a Fun Ship if you're seeking tranquility?

View Carnival's cruise ship staterooms, including suites, balconies, oceanviews and interior staterooms. Plus, Cloud 9 Balconies bring health and wellness to your room. As you set sail, half the fun is keeping an eye on the ocean and enjoying the sea breezes as your ship heads toward paradise. Of course you can always snag a lounge chair by the pool and sip a drink, but for adventure seekers, there’s plenty to keep you occupied while you’re out on deck.
